The Agilent G1330B 1290 Thermostat ensures accurate temperature control no matter the number of vials. It features an enhanced cooling/heating module that uses Peltier elements. A fan draws air from the sample tray area and blows it through the channels of the heating/cooling module. The fan speed is determined according to environmental conditions when heating and according to Peltier elements when cooling. During heating, the air reaches the temperature of the Peltier elements, then evenly distributes underneath the sample tray area. During cooling, four fans blow air from left to right through the instrument to remove the heated air. Any condensation that appears during cooling is guided into the leak-prevention system.
The Agilent G1330B 1290 Thermostat is specially-designed to hold either 100 x 1.8 mL vials or two wellplates and 10 x 1.8 mL vials.
