Featuring a high-quality aluminum body that measures 237/10 inches wide by 271/2 inches deep by 511/10 inches tall, the Axis AXM40 planetary mixer is a floor model made for mixing large quantities of cake batter and bread dough. It ships with a stainless steel 40-quart bowl. While operating, a stainless steel guard prevents accidental contact with the mixing element, while its control panel comes equipped with an emergency shut off switch for drastic situations. This control panel also features a 30-minute digital timer in addition to a start and emergency stop button. For versatile application, it comes with a wire whip, flat beater, and dough hook attachments; its No. 12 hub is compatible with meat grinder and vegetable masher attachments (not included).
The Axis AXM40 floor mixer utilizes a powerful gear driven motor to ensure it can keep up with a high-volume workload. All its gears are crafted of a hardened steel alloy designed to extend service life; the crafting of its body minimizes noise during use to avoid irritating employees or customers. It has a variable speed setting, allowing its element to spin at 113, 233, and 427 RPMs respectively. The unit uses a planetary mixing system, meaning the mixer circles the rim of the bowl to push all product to the center for an even mixing.
