The Invitrogen Life Technologies E-Gel Camera Hood Kit, when combined with a base, forms the E-Gel Imager System. This E-Gel Camera Hood Kit includes a compact digital camera mounted in a sleek hood, a universal filter, power, USB cables and E-Gel Adaptor Base.  Capture sharp, rich images with the integrated scientific grade digital camera. Features include:

• Ability to capture gel images in real time, even during a run
• Ability to analyze your gel images using the powerful Gel Quant Express software
• Real Time Image Capture for the First Time
• System is designed to allow real time imaging of E-Gel cassettes during an electrophoresis run
• All three E-Gel Imager System configurations allow you to power and run the E-Gel iBase power system inside the camera hood without having to run wires through a door or under the hood
• By using the E-Gel Camera Hood Kit with the Adaptor Base, you can also run “E-Gel Go” cassettes using the Go! Base
• Superb Image Capture and Analysis Software (GelCapture and Gel Quant Express) are available
• GelCapture can be downloaded and run on any PC, while Gel Quant Express requires a USB dongle for operation
