Kestrel 5700 Elite Weather Meter with Applied Ballistics with LiNK, Desert Tan

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fully featured Kestrel weather meter that can measure wind speed, temperature, humidity, pressure and direction, among other parameters. Basically an anemometer, psychrometer, and barometer which wirelessly datalogs information. 
This versatile instrument can log 10,000 time-stamped data points, and wirelessly transmit the data to a bluetooth-enabled device which has the free Kestrel LiNK app installed. Although this unit has the Applied Ballistics package installed (Great for hunting or target practice) it retains all of the features of the top-of-the-line Kestrel Weather meters.  Here are some of the main highlights of the instrument:
 

• 14 total meteorological parameters measured, calculated and displayed real-time and stored in memory, including advanced meteorological measurements such as relative humidity, dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature and density altitude. 
• The Kestrel LiNK app also displays the Kestrel's real-time readings on a vivid, customizable dashboard – providing a remote display that functions up to 100' away.
• This meter logs over 10,000 sets of time-stamped data on user-selected adjustable intervals.
• On-board digital compass
• Minimum/Maximum/Average Reading
• Rugged (drop tested to MIL-STD-810G standards), waterproof (sealed to IP67 standards) and floats.
• Large, hi-res, hi-contrast, graphic display is perfectly readable in the brightest sunlight and is backlit for nighttime use.
• Easily readable text in almost any setting, including bright sunlight, with more visible information on the screen at all times. This high-resolution display is easy on the eyes, allowing you to get more information from customizable user screens, charting and graphing options without causing eye strain or fatigue.
• Toggle backlight color between standard white and night-vision-preserving red (NV). The red NV backlight features an optical wavelength selected to help users sustain natural night vision and reduced brightness to avoid detection during night maneuvers.
• Icon-based navigation, intuitive keypad, and multiple languages make the Kestrel a breeze to use.
