The SC920 Vacuum Pumping system combines the proven performance of the KNF N920KT.29.18 oil free vacuum pump with the precise control and flexibility of wireless remote control

The system features four operating modes to provide intelligent vacuum control in a wide variety of laboratory applications. In the Evacuation mode, the pump's speed is controlled as a percentage of full speed to optimize pump-down times. The Pressure Control mode allows users to enter a desired vacuum level and automatically adjusts the pump to meet that target. In the Automatic mode the system automatically finds the vapor pressure of the sample and adjusts system pressures accordingly. In the Individual Pressure Function mode the system is controlled according to a user defined pressure curve. A repeat function allows for simple repetition of programmed pressure curves.

This system is ideally suited to applications involving vacuum evaporation, distillation, desiccation, gel drying and vacuum filtration. All system parameters are easily adjusted using the remote control touch screen and rotary knob. The vacuum system achieves an ultimate vacuum of 1.5 Torr and delivers up to 20L/min of gas flow. All wetted surfaces are manufactured from chemically resistant materials to provide a long, trouble-free service life. The installed high efficiency condenser is designed to provide superior solvent recovery and lower environmental emissions. The innovative diaphragm and valve system is designed to provide high suction speeds, even at low pressures, providing shorter process times. The quiet, space saving design fits easily into fume hoods or on crowded benchtops, but can also be positioned remotely in a cabinet or on a shelf.
