The Oxford Instruments ARC-MET8000 XRF analyzer has the unique ability to instantly analyze the metals using air and argon modes iincluding carbon and other light elements. The analysis takes place in the probe and is not away from the main unit which provides optimum accuracy as the signal is not weak. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Features include accurate, ideal for light elements, easy switch between the airpath nose and argon nose, remote display, optimum contrast properties to view in any lighting conditions, portable, automatically stored in a database, fingerprint identification, commercial-grade identification, and high sample throughput. Measuring remotely or high up, the probe has the integral display which will avoid returning to the main unit. Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as low alloy steel, stainless steel, tool steel, low alloy cast iron, aluminum, titanium, nickel, cobalt, copper, zinc, magnesium, and other alloys. Serves the metallurgical manufacturing, oil refineries, petrochemical, chemical, aviation, military, power plants, and scrap sorting industries.
