The Qiagen QIAcube HT uses silica membrane technology to provide medium to high-throughput nucleic acid purification in 96-well format. The automated processing of complex samples saves time by offering various purification runs on different days. This enables quick and easy purification of DNA, RNA, and miRNA from almost any type of sample, including cells, tissues, food materials, and bacteria and viruses in animal specimens.
The Qiagen QIAcube HT also includes advanced safety features to protect precious samples from environmental contamination. A HEPA filter supplies positive clean air pressure underneath the hood to protect from airborne contaminants, and the UV light provides worktable decontamination and prevents cross-contamination. Used tips are ejected into a disposable plastic box to prevent waste accumulation and keep waste disposal simple and safe.
