The SMITH FS351 Self-Propelled Surfacer is designed to make short work of removal jobs large or small. This powerhouse will prepare floor surfaces with controlled surface finishes from CSP3–CSP10. With lockable depth-control settings for consistent removal in the "impact zone," you get up to TWO TIMES faster removal speeds with adaptable changes for diamond shaving, rotoplaning, or carbide scarifying.
This unit achieves thorough removal on any depth or pitch grade with varying height control settings on the front and rear wheels. The adaptable pulley speed changes for correct shaving, planing or scarifying operations. Forward or reverse cutting is available for most removal applications. Powered by an industrial-grade electric start 25 HP heavy-duty Subaru Robin Vapor LP/ Natural Gas engine with tank, the FS351 has plenty of power for the toughest cutting jobs. It offers electric throttle controls, plus a tachometer/ hour meter and battery box (battery not supplied). The hydrostatic pump motor combination is coupled to a 67:1 worm gear reduction drive with positive stop parking brake through reduction gearbox with 3-point locking console mounted variable speed lever control head. Not only is this machine durable and long-lasting, but with its low-vibration drive system and vibration-dampening ergonomic handlebar, it's also comfortable to operate. The handlebar adjusts easily, making it perfect for operators of any height. |
