The Terex® Hydra Platforms truck-mounted models are fully equipped under-bridge access and work platforms, which are mounted on diesel-powered trucks. These state-of-the-art access platforms are the most versatile devices for inspections and under-bridge operations. Each Terex® Hydra Platforms truck model features a patented Tower Separation System, which includes hydraulically adjustable crosslinking arms between the main outside vertical tower and the turntable sub-frame, mounted on the truck. This allows operators to erect and extend the tower and the platform over pedestrian sidewalks and other barriers without restricting the under-bridge operations. The main operating system found on truck-mounted models from Terex® Hydra Platforms uses a silenced 30 kW diesel generator with a hydraulic pump. This system reduces fuel consumption and pollution during operation by 50 percent, making Terex® Hydra Platforms’ truck-mounted models an efficient and effective solution for inspection, repair and most under-bridge maintenance projects. On all its truck-mounted models, Terex Hydra Platforms offers standard Dual Side Hydraulic Outrigger Stabilizers, providing maximum stability and an added level of safety.
