PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Multi-mode non-invasive impedance moisture scanner designed for the instant, precise and non-destructive evaluation of moisture conditions and leak tracing in the roofing and walls systems of the building envelope. 

Features

• Complies with ASTM D7954
• For non-destructive moisture evaluation of roofs, EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finishing Systems), foam insulation systems and other building envelope applications
• Signals are transmitted from the electrodes at the base of the instrument into the area under test; these signals measure the change in electrical impedance which is translated into a relative moisture content reading
• Readings are instantly displayed on a clear, analog 0 to 100 reference scale
• Audible signal sounds at high readings
• Multi-mode functions allowing for depth penetration and sensitivity selection
• Dual operating modes for EIFS and Roofing; each of these modes has two ranges of sensitivity for both deep and low penetration sensitivity, with a signal penetration ranging from the surface up to 4" (100mm)
• "Hold" function facilitates the recording of readings
• Lightweight, handheld and battery operated
