OSHA and NFPA require a protection level or Fit Factor of at least 500 for full-face respirators, and ANSI requires 1000. No qualitative method meets these critical safety standards. TSI's PortaCount® Pro 8030 and PortaCount Pro+ 8038 fit test systems eliminate the guesswork associated with qualitative fit test methods by measuring fit while the user performs a series of moving, breathing, and talking exercises that simulate the same movements they make in the field. Which do you need? If you used the retired TSI PortaCount Plus 8020, or are testing disposable filtering facepieces Series 100, 99, P3, and HEPA masks, half and full-face masks, gas masks, PAPR, and SCBA masks, choose the PortaCount Pro 8030. If you used the retired TSI PortaCount Plus 8020 with 8095 N-95 Companion, or are testing ANY tight-fitting respirator plus N-95, P2, and P1 disposables, choose the PortaCount Pro+ 8038. It's OSHA-compliant for all respirator types.
