Lightweight and portable this 2-way speaker system from the iQ Series can be used in traditional analog systems as well. Audio excellence combined with industry-leading technologies gives the IQ-8 speaker system an impressive power-to-weight ratio and sonic performance. Thanks to its onboard 2-channel mixers USB-addressable DSP 2 500W Class-D power and turbo sound designed low/high-frequency drivers the IQ-8 speaker system delivers sound that is smooth and crisp with punch definition and vocal detail. The IQ-8 speaker system is equipped with Klark Teknik DSP power ensuring total system control and driver protection. This dynamic digital engine commands a phase/time-correction crossover EQ noise gate automatic feedback eliminator and much more to maintain optimal performance. DSP setup and adjustment scan be done directly at the amplifier thanks to a convenient rear panel LCD in this speaker system or even remotely using a PC and Behringer's free software download. The IQ-8 speaker system is equipped with iNUKE power amplifiers; 1 per subwoofer and 2 per bi-amplified loudspeaker-each packing an incredible 2 500W. Thanks to its integrated fly-points the IQ-8 speaker system can be suspended via optional hardware or ground stacked on its subwoofers to suit the venue. This iQ Series speaker system provides outstanding low-frequency extension sonic clarity and output typically associated with much larger speaker systems plus advanced intelligent DSP and remote control. In addition to XLR and 1/4 TRS inputs each iQ loudspeaker is incorporated with Behringer's proprietary ultranet technology. Ultranet uses CAT5 cables to transmit multi-channel audio signals and other information between other ultranet enabled products. It is also provided with Neutrik power twist-lock connectors to eliminate potential AC power disconnects and ground faults. And since digital transmission does not fall prey to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) or ground loop issues you will experience a hum and noise free sound reproduction.
