The Zeiss Axiovert 100 is a high-end, inverted, research-grade microscope for brightfield and fluorescence applications. This microscope is particulary well suited for live cell imaging and low-light fluorescence microscopy. The LD Achroplan objectives feature long working distance and phase-contrast optics for cell observations in plastic petri dishes. The series of objectives on the instrument have an extremely high light throughput from the UV to the red and are therefore intended for use for live-cell fluorescence imaging.
