The Zeiss Cirrus 5000 Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system provides a high definition scan of patient conditions and detects the subtle changes in pathology. It has a good progression analysis because of the tracking of the current scan to the position of a previous scan.

Suitable for anterior segment, glaucoma, and retina imaging applications.
Specifications include 27,000 to 68,000 A-scans per second scanning speed, 2 mm A-scan, 5 μm axial resolution, up to 25 μm transverse resolution, 36 x 30 degrees field of view, more than 20 Hz frame rate, 1280 x 1024 pixels iris imaging resolution and -20D to +20D (diopters) internal fixation focus adjustment. Available in 15.5 x 5.8 mm ChamberView, 15.5 x 2.9 mm wide-angle to angle, 9 x 2 mm HD cornea, 6 x 2.9 mm HD angle and 9 mm pachymetry map. It adds the AngioPlex OCT angiography option to provide non-invasive 3-D microvascular imagery.
