Water Level Meter Description

Before renting a water level meter you must know the depth of your tank, well, or bore hole.  This will allow you to rent or lease a water level meter with a long enough measuring tape and also assist you in calculating the water level when using the meter.

Features of water level meters

The water level meter that you rent or lease from the KWIPPED network of suppliers will have a probe, measuring tape, a spool to coil the tape, and a panel for batteries, lights and buzzers.  The probe is attached to wires that are enclosed in the measuring tape.

How water level meters work

Water level meters look like large tape measures with a probe on the end.  This probe is lowered into the well or tank toward the water.  When it reaches the water a buzzer and/or light is activated to let the operator know the probe is touching the water.  A measurement can then be read from the tape portion of the water level meter and the operator can calculate the depth of the water.
